Armidale Independent - 11/12/08
Representatives of Energetique, the Armidale based developer of the energy mobility vehicle “evMe” visited Parliament House to show Canberra their first Australian Manufactured electric vehicle.
A number of MP’s attended to inspect the vehicle along with members of the media.
The Independent Member for New England, Tony Wondsor met with the ‘evMe’ team on the lawn in front of Parliament.
“The ‘evMe’ had a warm response from other MP’s and media. The ‘evMe’ is something which again highlights the point that there is a market and an urgent need for environmentally friendly innovation and manufacturing across all industry sectors within Australia.
Well done to Phil and his team for doing all in their power to get their environmentally friendly into the market.
It’s a real credit to the team and I wish them well as they persue their dream,” Mr Windsor said.
