evMe is powered by a Swiss designed and engineered hybrid synchronous motor. This ultra quiet motor produces 85kW (114 hp) of power and can deliver 223Nm of torque over a wide speed range. It is ideally suited for a traction drive vehicle with fixed gear ratio.
The motor operates at up to 97% efficiency (with 94% worst performance) which means very little energy is wasted as heat so most of the battery power is converted to mechanical power.
The motor utilises regenerative braking (which recovers and stores the energy usually lost when you slow down) to extend your battery charge even further. Whenever you slow down, the motor produces electricity which is stored in the battery.
